VISOR operations

Operations using the VISOR UVIS range from major events to checkpoints at critical infrastructure locations.

The VISOR UVIS can be installed as a fixed system or at temporary checkpoints.  Installation for fixed systems does not require a chamber or sump to be excavated in the roadway – the VISOR camera unit is usually fixed to the surface of roadway using bolts.

Where a VISOR under vehicle surveillance system (UVSS) is used at a temporary location, it can be installed by 1 or 2 people in a few minutes – usually 5 or less.
